As cringeworthy as they are cute, here are photographs from my early days, which Dad scanned the other day from a bunch of old slides. My brother's in many of these pictures too.

Barbados 2003 03/01/2004
The family Christmas was spent this year on Barbados. We packed an awful lot into the five brief days. Catch of the day for me was a giant Wahoo on my first ever fishing trip. Mother Nature, of course, got her own back on me for murdering one of her creatures: horrible seasickness for the rest of the day (enjoy the contrast between 0036.jpg and 0045.jpg).

Party 2003 27/10/2003
It has become something of a tradition for Nick and I to hold a party around the time of our birthdays. This year was particularly special as Claire Capaldi was leaving Glasgow to head round the world for a few months. So we held whopper of a party in the Corinthian to celebrate.

Rachel Leaving 5/8/2003
The decision to leave Glasgow for the bright lights (and new job) of London meant that Rachel threw a big party in the The Universal so that everyone could say their goodbyes.
